THE SPOT

Located in the Caribbean Sea, this island paradise is known as St. Kitts & Nevis. Just to give some information about St. Kitts, since most people have never heard of it. Saint Kitts & Nevis were among the first islands in the Caribbean to be settled by Europeans. Saint Kitts was home to the first British and French colonies in the Caribbean, and has been titled “The Mother Colony of the West Indies”. St. Kitts is a two-island country Located in the Leeward Islands chain of the Lesser Antilles. It is the smallest country in the Western Hemisphere, in both size and population. St. Kitts is a Commonwealth, with the British monarch Queen Elizabeth II as the head of state. The Green Living Walls are found in the world-class Park Hyatt Hotel. This luxury hotel is on a beach overlooking Banana Bay, it is about one mile from the Great Salt Pond, five miles the from Royal Beach Casino and around 7 miles from the Museum of Nevis History. The Green Living Walls are found in the main reception, the spa area, and presidential villa area.

 

THE SPECS

The Green Living Walls altogether encompass an area that covers over 1950 square feet and uses nearly 200 panels! These walls feature a variety of plants that create a beautiful and astonishing art piece. The design of these walls features a sequence of plant-patterned shapes, with each layer overlapping one another. We used rectangular and linear patterns combined with circular and wave-like patterns. This was done to show the plants in a modern fashion. The atmosphere around the plants creates an atmosphere that induces a sense of freshness. Wherein the shapes of the plants characterize the space.

 

THE ECOSYSTEM

The hotel comprises a total of seven Green Living Walls and a whopping 7000 plants. The Green Living Walls are that, green-living-walls. The vertical gardens are made to reflect the island’s tropical location, using a variety of colors. These pieces of nature are lush and green. Stop and gaze upon at the pictures, and see why we are crazy about Green Living Walls. As it is said; “a picture is worth a thousand words.”

THE EFFECT

They are so many things about these walls that them apart a regular art piece, decoration, or an appliance. Let us look at some of the effects the Green Living Walls will have on the property value.
